Query & Submission Material

In this package, the editor will discuss your individual needs and goals for the project. She's happy to work with both indie and traditional publication seeking clients.  Submission material consists of query letter, synopsis, outline, and first 10 pages critique as often requested by agents and publishing houses. You may request to partake in the full package or a la carte critiques!

All options with include a comprehensive breakdown on your submission material's engagement, marketability, and format, along with a brief edit letter and annotated documents with actionable feedback.

My query letter critiques focus on refining the structure and clarity of your pitch to ensure it captures an industry professional's attention. I assess the marketability of your hook, genre positioning in the current market, clarify the GMC (goal, motivation, and conflict) at the heart of your manuscript, so your query stands out in the slush pile! The goal is a polished, compelling query that effectively illustrates your story, aligns with industry expectations, and promotes the commercial marketability of the project.

Reviews!

Thank you for getting this back to me so quickly. I greatly appreciate the time you took to critique my query letter and give immensely helpful feedback. This has been very informative and I liked that you included a "why" for every change to help me understand what agents are looking for in a query. Thank you again for your help and encouragement!"
